Ps3 Frooze

Not sure whats up but everytime i try to play any game now it loads and bam freeze .

Its a few years old now probly 4 yrs. I will try again tonight and see what happen's .

Just google it up might be a bad system update problem where you will need to erase the last update and redo it or maybe you need to do a total system restore. First thing I would do is trying to play a game offline it will give you a place to start troubleshooting your problem. If it plays fine then it will probably be a bad system update or something to do with the online side of the PS3.

My PS3 froze up like that. It wouldn't play any games (on disk OR from the Hard drive)
I panicked and ran out and bought a new one.

Then I took the old one to a repair shop and all it needed was a System Restore.
I did it at home, it took about 3 hours, and didn't cost me a scent

yeah mine gave me the yellow diode of doom so we had to trash it and buy a slim. *sigh* goodbye hardware backwards compatibility.

a friend of mine had same problem it froze up almost every day
1 month later he got yellow light of death.

I did the Restore system thing and it worked ,Hope nothing else happens.
