Disks won't read?
So, for a while now, everytime I'd play Gears and turn off my 'Box without removing the game, it wouldn't read any disks when I turned it back on. So I'd do something stupid to get it working again. But, it happened with MW2 this morning. Any ideas as to what it may be and how to go about fixing it?

That's what I'm doing now; I was just wondering if anyone had this happen before?

I dunno. I've been thinking about picking up one of them new Xboxes, but can I keep my old hard drive and use it on the new ones?

Old hard drive won't work on the new box, you'll need a usb and a functioning old xbox or a transfer cable. If your xbox still 'works' you should wait for the kinect+xbox combo, I know it may not be too intriguing but it should be a pretty good deal. A friend showed me a commercial/possible rumor that the kinect and xbox slim together would cost $299, That's the price of the slim right now. If you REALLY don't want the kinect you could just sell it at a moderate price and make up for the deficit.

Thanks for the imput Vet. So I'd be able to transfer my memory from my old Xbox to my new one via USB? Intresting. I think I'll deffinatly look into it, once my old Xbox finally does go. I'll also keep an eye out for that possible deal you mentioned, seems like a good buy.
