Re: iPod/iPhone Jailbreaking thread
Sounds good , FYI Jailbreaking voids warranty. But its worth it sometimes just take care of that bad boy .
Re: iPod/iPhone Jailbreaking thread
lol ive gone way past jailbreak, try putting a boot loader on your ipod and setting up android
Re: iPod/iPhone Jailbreaking thread
Alright First you have to have some basic knowledge about comps and you have to know alot about your jailbroken ipod, if you don't know how to open ssh and edit files and add files into /private/var/ then i wouldn't suggest doing this.
This youtube video explains most of it and gives you all the download links

and im also working on putting ubuntu on my ipod instead of android
Re: iPod/iPhone Jailbreaking thread
lol well found out they haven't quite found a way to put ubuntu on your ipod yet but its out for iphones, and by the way follow that video but instead of using the openiboot.img3 file they have in the folder use this
http://www.zesg.net/ninn//openiboot/IPOD/notouch/openiboot.img3
makes it so instead of 2 bootable os you can have 3 bootable os

Re: iPod/iPhone Jailbreaking thread
you can partition the flash drive as many times as you want. If you really wanna have fun, try running windows 95 on the iPad. I <3 Ubuntu too. lol
Re: iPod/iPhone Jailbreaking thread
technically it doesn't partition the hard drive, thats the thing that makes it harder to put multiple os on it, plus you have to make it work on 3 different console set ups: the ipod touch, the iphone 2 and the iphone 3
Re: iPod/iPhone Jailbreaking thread
yeah, I'm having trouble finding another first gen touch, I have an iPhone 3g but I don't feel like experimenting on it.
