Upcoming XBLA Games, Sales

Summer always brings the release of great Xbox Live Arcade games, even outside of Microsoft's Summer of Arcade promotion. Tomorrow we'll get the excellent Puzzle Quest 2, and Microsoft just let us know what we can expect next week, as well.

June 30 XBLA Releases
Puzzle Quest 2 ($15) -- The long-awaited sequel to our favorite puzzle/RPG mash-up.
Ancients of Ooga ($10) -- A clever puzzle platformer from the creators of Cloning Clyde.
Toy Soldiers "The Kaiser's Battle" Game Add-On ($5) -- Re-enter the fray as the French Army, take on a new experimental boss, earn 3 new achievements and battle into the midnight hours in new multiplayer and Survival Mode maps.

July 7 XBLA Releases:
Monkey Island 2 Special Edition: LeChuck's Revenge ($10) -- This upgrade to the classic point-and-click adventure adds new graphics, voice acting, a hint system, console-friendly controls, and developer commentary.
Blacklight: Tango Down ($15) -- An impressive, futuristic first-person shooter designed for multiplayer matches.
Worms 2 Armageddon Battle Pack Game Add-on ($5) -- Six new weapons, thirty new single-player missions, an all-new game mode called "Survivor," ten new Forts, new speechbanks, additional Achievements, Player Titles, leaderboards and more.

From July 6 to July 12 Microsoft is holding Liveapalooza on Xbox Live. During this time music game add-ons such as albums, track packs, and songs for Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Band Hero, and Lips will be put on sale.

And this week six XBLA games are on sale: Chime, Darwinia+, Defense Grid: The Awakening, The Misadventures of P. B. Winterbottom, Poker Smash, and Rocket Riot.

I'm excited for blacklight, not so much the rest.
