120gb Hard Drive???

I just recently bought a 120gb hdd Elite off of Craigs list. The problem is, my xbox pro wont recognize it when I pop it in! I called the guy who sold it and he is very willing to take it back so im pretty sure hes not pulin any crap. Anyone have any knowledge of elite hdd to regular xbox's? Any help will be appreciated

i have a Arcade and whenever my friend is over he brings his Elite harddrive and he just slips it in and we have no problems. maybe somethings wrong with the way your putting it in.

Idk how old is your xbox? Like literally I can use the transfer cable and it reads a 16 gb usb device but if I pop it in it reads nothing...

ya mines from I think 07. Maybe its too old and it isnt compatible with the elite

I dont think thats the problem. You can try to contact Xbox support about that problem but compatible issue shouldnt even matter really.

yeah just say you bought a brand new HD from gamestop and tell them it doesn't work, see what advice they give.

Maybe I will try that hydro and cruxis I called xbox and they gave me a bunch of crap that it was the transfer cable and it is only good for one time
